If you have been with us for a while, you know we love creating digital laser cut files for makers, small shops, and creative do-it-yourselfers. SVGs are still a big part of what we do, and they are not going anywhere. But we also know that not every crafter has access to a laser cutter. Sometimes you love the look of a project, but you would rather skip the cutting step and jump right into the fun part.
Painting. Staining. Decorating. Assembling. Making it your own.
So, yes, it is official.
ShapeHouse Studio is getting physical.
Introducing Physical Laser-Cut Blanks
Our new physical blanks are unfinished laser-cut pieces that ship directly to you. They are designed for crafters who want the creative fun of making without needing to own a laser cutter or cut every small piece themselves.
These blanks are perfect for shelf sitters, wood block characters, signs, ornaments, tiered tray decor, seasonal decorations, craft fair projects, paint parties, handmade gifts, and so much more.
You bring the paint, glue, ribbon, stain, greenery, fabric scraps, or finishing touches. We send the pieces ready for your creativity.
Find Them in Our New BLANKS Section
To make shopping easier, we have added a new BLANKS section to our Etsy shop.
This section is where you will find our physical laser-cut blanks, separate from our digital SVG listings. If you are looking for ready-to-decorate pieces that will be shipped to you, head to the BLANKS section of our shop.
Digital files will still be listed in their regular categories, but the BLANKS section will help you quickly spot the products that are physical items.

Laser-Cut Glasses Blanks
Our laser-cut glasses blanks are a simple detail that can add so much personality to a project.
Use them for wood block characters, shelf sitters, teacher gifts, book-themed crafts, ornaments, signs, and other handmade pieces. They are especially fun for adding a playful finishing touch to characters, bears, scarecrows, holiday designs, and more.

Our teddy bear face blanks are designed to help you create sweet bear-themed projects without needing to cut each small face piece yourself.

Rag Flag Blanks
We are also adding rag flag blanks to the shop, including patriotic designs inspired by our digital rag flag files.

Add fabric strips, ribbon, twine, paint, stain, or other finishing details to create a piece that feels handmade and full of character.
Scarecrow Face Blanks
Fall makers, this one is for you.
Our scarecrow face blanks are designed for cozy autumn projects, shelf sitters, wood block characters, tiered tray decor, fall signs, and seasonal craft fair items. Pair them with a wood block, paint them in warm fall colors, and add raffia, ribbon, fabric, or a little plaid for extra charm.
Jack-o’-Lantern Face Blanks
We are also launching jack-o’-lantern face blanks for Halloween and fall crafting.
These are great for pumpkin signs, shelf sitters, porch decor, ornaments, spooky-cute projects, paint party crafts, and handmade Halloween displays. Whether you like classic orange pumpkins, neutral farmhouse pumpkins, or fun painted patterns, these blanks give you an easy starting point.
Why We’re Adding Blanks
We love digital files, and we know many of you do too. But we also know there are many makers who want to create beautiful handmade projects without needing laser equipment, software, material testing, or cut settings.
Physical blanks make our designs more accessible.
They are also great for crafters who want to save time, batch-make products for craft fairs, host paint parties, create with kids, or simply enjoy a relaxing project without the setup.
It is the same creative spirit, just in a new format.
Digital Files Are Still Here
If you love cutting your own designs, we will continue creating SVGs, DXF files, EPS files, and other digital laser cut files.
Our goal is not to replace digital designs. It is to give you more ways to create.
Some designs will be available as digital files. Some will be available as physical blanks. Some will be available as both. As we continue to grow, we plan to add more SVGs and blanks for all seasons, holidays, occasions, and everyday crafting.
So whether you want to cut the project yourself or start with ready-to-decorate blanks, we hope ShapeHouse Studio can be part of your creative process.
A Few Things to Know About Our Physical Blanks
Our physical blanks are unfinished and ready for you to paint, stain, decorate, and assemble.
Because they are laser cut, the edges will naturally have a darker finish. Some light marks from the cutting process may also be visible, especially on the back side of pieces. This is normal for laser-cut blanks and does not affect the quality of the product.
Finished sample projects may be shown for inspiration, but physical blank listings include only the unfinished blanks described in each listing. Paint, stain, wood blocks, ribbon, fabric, glue, greenery, props, and other accessories are not included unless clearly stated.
Physical blank listings do not include digital files.
